More than half a century ago, GSLTC put on its first AKC obedience trial. This tradition continues, and has expanded to a weekend of two obedience trials and two rally obedience trials. We sponsor seminars and educational programs for the general public as well as for our membership. We conduct AKC Canine Good Citizen tests. We appear at functions such as the Canine Olympics, where we offer opportunities such as the chance to try a Rally Obedience course to the public. In general, we try to serve and educate the community in as many ways as possible.
Mobile Adoption Event at Kmart
This is an adoption event in conjunction with the APA and K-Mart. GSLTC trainers will be there to talk about the necessity of training your adopted dog.

2010 Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Fall Festival
This is an AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Days event. GSLTC will have a booth here, and will do Teach-a-Trick, Run-a-Rally Course, and Ask the Trainers.

Spirit of St. Louis Canine Games
All purebred and mixed breed dogs and their humans are invited to participate. No experience is necessary. Have a great time with your dog, trying out various activities, which in the past have included: Agility, Obedience/Rally, Conformation, Tricks, Training Demos, Lure Coursing, Flyball, Frisbee, Retrieving, Harness, Rescue Dog Parade, Raffles and Prizes, Vendors. GSLTC will probably host a Rally course.
